Quote from the EULA:
(3) You may not use macros or other stored rapid keystrokes or other patterns of play that facilitate acquisition of items, currency, objects, character attributes, rank or status at an accelerated rate when compared with ordinary Game play. You may not rewrite or modify the user interface or otherwise manipulate data in any way to acquire items, currency, objects, character attributes or beneficial actions not actually acquired or achieved in the Game.

I wonder how many of TTI's miners will get shot at now that people know they're mostly afk...
In fact, all you have to do is ram their container can until it's further than 2km away and their little afk mining trick is ruined.

You're reading it wrong, Ctaesis.
You can't use macro's.

Quote: Ya Josh, that's exactly right. You could do that. Then again, our mining ops are completely defended.
Poor SI - demoted to ore guardians now?

Ctaesis,
Hmmmm, it can be taken both ways, if you ask me.
Depends on your viewpoint - cheater or honest player.

You're not up for full automation of Eve yet you're highlighting a way of making it so?

Maybe someone should ask, at the next CSM, whether macro's of any kind are illegal and, if not, in what way they can be used without breaking some rules.

I was going for three points, damn it.
It was my sentence structure that cost me.
Anyway, I think macro's are wrong wrong wrong.
I'll continue to think they are wrong even if CCP say it's ok.

I have no idea but, if it DOES turn out that using a macro as you've described IS illegal, then TTI's mining ops may get a little bit of GM attention, no?
